Pastor Clay Carlisle was born and raised in Texas. He graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2004 with a Masters of Theology in Pastoral Ministries.
Pastor Clay, his wife, Julie and their two children, Caleb, Selah, accepted the pastorate at First Baptist Church and moved to Philomath in August of 2005 and welcomed Daniella to the family in 2006.
Pastor Clay served in vocational ministry as a youth pastor for twelve years before taking the senior pastorate at First Baptist. He is passionate about God’s Word and God’s people. He is committed to equipping each member of the church for the work of ministry through the accurate teaching and application of the Word of God.
